Gertrude Bell Archive

The Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies, in collaboration with the Special Collections department at the University of Exeter, co-curated the exhibition Challenging Legacies: the Kingdom of Iraq and Gertrude Bell with Newcastle University Archives and Special Collections, which hosts the archive of explorer, writer, archaeologist, and colonial diplomat Gertrude Bell (1868 – 1926).
